Tent Sauna
Features
We’ve installed the spacious and authentic “Sotoburo DOME12” tent sauna, which can accommodate up to 12 people. It offers a full-fledged sauna experience where you can work up a proper sweat, just like in a traditional sauna.
Sauna Stove
Equipped with two high-performance wood-burning stoves, each capable of holding 20 kg of sauna stones. We use apple wood sourced from local farmers for a fragrant, natural heat.
Löyly (Steam Infusion)
Enjoy self-service löyly as often as you like, with no hesitation. A variety of aromatic waters are available and change daily for a refreshing experience.
Detox Water
Fresh, locally sourced water drawn from the area. Sometimes infused with seasonal fruits generously provided by local farmers.

Cold Bath
A custom cold bath with a 2-meter diameter, large enough for up to 6 people at once.
Outdoor Cool-Down
We’ve installed six Coleman Infinity Chairs—relax in your favorite position and fully enjoy a luxurious outdoor cool-down.
Oropon (Oroponic Drink)
We also offer “Oropon,” a classic sauna drink in Japan made by mixing Oronamin C and Pocari Sweat. Perfectly refreshing and rehydrating after a deep sweat!

Sachinoyu is proud of its food. Our owner personally sources local and seasonal ingredients to create delicious home-style dishes, which you can enjoy alongside Shiga Kogen craft beer and local sake.

Shiga Kogen is just as magical at night♪ From Sachinoyu at 1,650 meters above sea level, you can enjoy breathtaking stargazing or take in the night views from scenic spots. In summer, you can even see fireflies just a short walk away.

Private rental (90 minutes): ¥12,000
※Please note: Because the sauna uses a wood-burning stove, reservations must be made at least 2 hours in advance.
